2009 - A Day Of Recovery.

As we move into 2009, I sought the Lord as to what He might have me share with His people for this year. In the midst of such uncertain times, it is comforting to know we can call on Him and know with a certainty that He will answer. After all, wasn't it He who said that IF we seek Him we WILL find him?

I pray that as you read this, you will allow the Lord to minister to your spirit this word of encouragement.

“You feel like a late starter or that it is too late to start, but I would say to you, "No"! I still have high hopes for you.

Do not look at the perceived failures of your past. Those thoughts will only hold you down and hold you captive. I would have you look at the new day that is upon you now, and y et in front of you.

It is a day of vast assignments from My throne room. It is a day of vast opportunities. These are upon you and not behind you. Let go of all that you perceive to be lost and gain momentum in that which is already here and also in what lays ahead. The future is where it is at. The future is where hope lays waiting for you to possess.

Have I not said, "Take every thought captive"? So what are you waiting for? Do it! Obey My word and take every thought captive into the obedience of Christ. I will never disappoint you. I have proclaimed, “You have a future and a hope!” Jeremiah. 29:11.

Read My book. It is full of promises for you and your future.

Many would have you believe you have no hope and have no future. But this is contrary to My very word. I AM your hope and I AM your future.

I AM thrilled about what is about to happen to you. Do not be despondent or dismayed. Do not fear. I will make a way for you and yours. I am the same yesterday, today, and forever. I play by My rules, not the worlds. After all, I wrote the book.

I have told the story exactly how it will happen and turn out. I will reveal things that have lain dormant and hidden for years very soon to My people and especially to My prophets. Listen well to My true prophets. Do not be deceived, but know the true from the false. They will carry truth in their mouths and a sword in their hands.

These days are not for the weak, but the strong. I have allowed My people to go through the fire, and the floods of life, but those who have stood and not denied My name will go forth in the power of My Spirit.

You have come to a place of no return. No returning to the old. Old traditions of the past, old wine skins. No looking back regretting what could have been. Lot’s wife did that and look what happened to her!

I am pouring out My Spirit upon you, your sons and your daughters. Did I not say that they would prophesy? For indeed they have begun and it will continue as the day draws nearer.

I am bringing forth a people who are the true sons of God. They have been washed by My blood and tested by fire.

You may think you have lost momentum and strength, but in actuality you have not only gained momentum but also strength in My Spirit. What you have lost, I will recover. Have I not said, "the weak shall be strong and the poor shall be rich"? The harvest IS upon you. Seize this time and opportunity. It is on you now.

Do you understand the day that you are now in? It is all brand new and it is the day that you have waited for to accomplish great exploits by My Spirit. I am ready to show Myself mighty on your behalf says the Lord.

A true shift has occurred. Watch and see it unfold before your very eyes. It will surely happen just as I say,” says the Lord.

FAR LEFT, FAR RIGHT or RIGHT WHERE YOU NEED TO BE?

Being IN this world but not OF it!

Through the years, the Church has tried to be relevant to those around her. This idea was not a bad one, but in some cases, there have been those who went so far to the other side they now believe anything goes.

I am one who believes like Paul the Apostle said, "I have become all things to all people that I may win the more to Christ". The problem that many have fallen into is rubbing shoulders so closely with the world that they looked, smelled and tasted just like the world and became deceived themselves. They then fell into the same trap the people of the world are in---

- NO ABSOLUTES!!!

Calling everything that is Godly, "religious!”

There is a fine line that believers need to walk. Remember, we are to be in the world, but not of the world. I am not talking about whether you have a glass of wine or not. It goes way beyond that! It is about swinging to far to the other side you become trapped back in the world with no conviction of right or wrong.

I totally believe that we need to be relevant in order for people to be able to relate to Christ in us, but the Church needs to be careful we don’t have people misinterpret who we really are and who it is we represent.

We are to be like Him, not like the world. I did not say, "Holier than Thou". I just said, separated and different so that they will want what you and I have…Jesus!

In the past we taught that holiness equaled ‘you can't do this or you cant do that'. Well, who wants to live like that? Now however we find that the Church has swung totally to the other side. God is bringing His Church to the place it needs to be, where we will make a huge impact on the world for the glory of God.

I am all for having a great time, because the Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, but we are also His and need to make sure we are doing it His way and not our way.

We can have a great time and still be sold out to Him. I hate religious spirits; so don't misunderstand what I am saying here. We just need to be in the right place and position in God to make the huge impact He wants to make in the earth.

Find your place in Him and He will show you where you belong and what you can or can’t do according to His word. Simple as that!

SPIRITUAL STERILITY

Have you ever said to yourself, "It is over for me. I am going nowhere!" Many describe this feeling almost as if they have had a "spiritual vasectomy or spiritual tubaligation" so to speak. In other words, nothing they put their hands to or "sow" into seems to go anywhere or "produce" anything. But here is what I believe the Spirit of God is saying to you...... "I have taken you to the operating room of heaven. Many of you are not even aware of it, but never the less, it has taken place. I have opened what was stopped up. I have cleared that which was blocked. I have reconnected that which was disconnected. I have brought new to that which was old. Old ways of thinking are being done away with. A new mind set. A fresh mind set. What you believed was over in your life really has only just begun. Fertile, fertile, fertile is what I say! Productive, productive, productive, is what I say! I have untied the blockage and opened the way so that once again you may be used by Me and bring forth fruit, fruit, fruit that will last even in your old age. Did I not do it for Abraham and Sarah? Are you any different? It is not over until I say it is over! A time of conception, birth, and growth. Not a time of death, but life says the Lord. So re-evaluate your old mind set and see if I will not do it says the Lord. Release those doubts and uncertainties to Me and receive a fresh start of something great. Away with spiritual sterility, for I am reversing says the Lord. Old things have passed away, behold all things become new. Get back on track" As I look at the year 2008, the number 8 means New Beginnings! Many of you are being given a new beginning this year so don't waste it. Claim this year as your new dawn.
